Rosetta Stone mobile application now available to Chickasaw citizens

The language-learning program Rosetta Stone Chickasaw is now available exclusively for Chickasaw citizens and immediate family members as a mobile app.

The collaboration between the Chickasaw Nation and Rosetta Stone, the world’s leading language-learning software company, offers interactive language lessons for speakers of all levels.

The mobile app is available for Apple and Android devices and makes Chickasaw language lessons more accessible. Using available technology, the program helps ensure the Chickasaw language remains strong for many generations to come and preserves an important part of Chickasaw heritage.

Chickasaw citizens and immediate family members can find the app in Apple’s App Store. Android users can access the app in Google Play.

Developed with native Chickasaw speakers, Rosetta Stone Chickasaw features custom content available at no charge to Chickasaw citizens and immediate family members worldwide.

The program features 40 engaging lessons incorporating video, audio and still images presented in an award-winning language learning web-based platform, allowing users to learn conversational Chickasaw phrases at their own pace.

Once registered for the program, credentials may be used to log in to the Rosetta Stone Advanced Languages mobile app.
