Bank2 closing cost vouchers now available to Chickasaw citizens

OKLAHOMA CITY  – Chickasaw citizens financing the purchase of a home or refinancing a home through Bank2 can receive $1,000 vouchers toward closing costs on qualifying home loans. The offer is good through August 31.

Bank2, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chickasaw Nation, is one of the top sources of Native American home loans across the United States.

Governor Bill Anoatubby said this Bank2 initiative continued the tribe’s practice of leveraging industry experience to offer citizens enhanced services and opportunities.

“Since opening in 2002, Bank2 has grown to be a trusted source of Native American home loans throughout the United States,” Gov. Anoatubby said. “We developed this unique program as part of our effort to help make home loans more accessible for Chickasaw citizens.”

With closing costs in Oklahoma typically amounting to several thousand dollars, the vouchers lessen out-of-pocket costs and reduce stress on families during the home purchase process.

“Bank2 exists to help Chickasaw citizens build better lives, with our commitment to that mission driving our operations daily,” Bank2 president Ross Hill said. “We are appreciative of the support of Governor Anoatubby as we use this voucher program to serve Chickasaw citizens in their home-financing journey.”

The $1,000 voucher is applied to closing costs at the time of loan closing with Bank2.The voucher can be used at the time of closing exclusively to pay home loan closing fees such as home inspections, property appraisals, lender and title fees.
