A Chickasaw Nation program that delivers direct payments to Chickasaw households that have experienced economic challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic kicked off Sept. 15.

Through Sept. 24, the Economic Assistance for Citizens and Households (EACH) has dispersed, or is preparing to disperse, over $70 million.

“This unique program will get $2,000 checks into the hands of every Chickasaw citizen who has been negatively impacted by the pandemic,” Gov. Bill Anoatubby said. “Applying for the EACH program is very simple, and we are here to help.”

You may apply for the EACH program online, by email or by phone. Citizens who have not applied for payments by Sept. 29, 2021 will receive an application by U.S. mail, delivered to the address listed on their citizenship forms.

Following submission of an application to the EACH program, citizens can expect delivery of a $2,000 by U.S. mail within 14 days.

“It’s important Chickasaws know that eligibility for this program is wide-ranging,” Lt. Gov. Chris Anoatubby said. “We are here to assist all citizens with applications. We understand the pandemic has caused economic hardship for virtually everyone. It is easy to apply and we want to help Chickasaws every step of the way.”

Eligibility criteria includes having loss or reduction of income or employment, change in household or family circumstances, change in market circumstances, or medical needs.

Citizens whose tax filing status is single or married filing separate with less than $75,000 annual income; less than $112,000 annual income filing as head of household; or less than $150,000 annual income married filing jointly or surviving spouse, are all eligible for the program.

EACH applications are easy to find.

You may pick up an application packet at the Carl Albert Service Center, 1001 N. Country Club in Ada, Okla. You can also apply by phone by calling the EACH call center at (580) 276-8508 or toll free at (866) 537-0438. You may also apply online at www.chickasaw.net/EACH.
